Применяется в СКС - для подвески на опорах воздушных линий связи и обеспечения передачи цифровых сигналов в диапазоне частот, соответствующих категории 5.

Основой кабеля являются восемь медных однопроволочных токопроводящих жил диаметром 0.51 (±0.02) мм. Каждая жила помещена в полиэтиленовую изоляцию и имеет свой цветовой рисунок. Кабель экранирован, сам экран дополнен проводником для обеспечения электрической непрерывности. Внешнаяя оболочка кабеля сплошная, из полиэтилена. Имеется разрывной шнур для удобства зачистки оболочки кабеля. Перефирийный несущий трос реализован в виде стальной однопроволочной жилы в полиэтиленовой изоляции.
